Beyoncé: 'Never Too Late' to celebrate marriage equality

Queen Bey may be late to the party, but that didn't stop her from celebrating the Supreme Court's gay marriage ruling with a twist on her "7/11" music video.

Queen Bey may be late to the party, but she never fails to make a splash.

On Wednesday afternoon, pop singer Beyoncé uploaded a video to her Instagram account to celebrate the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark 5-4 decision making same-sex marriage legal in all 50 states.

The video post is a twist on the Grammy award-winner's viral 2014 "7/11" music video, with Beyoncé using the same amateur camera positioning to show her changing into a series of colorful, rainbow outfits to celebrate gay pride.

In one hour, the post had gone viral, earning just over 458,000 likes and 25,848 comments on Instagram -- about 8,400 likes per minute. The post went out to her over 38 million followers and had the most used hashtag about the court's ruling, #LoveWins, in the caption.

Beyoncé may have waited a few days to join the conversation on social media, but as she wrote in her captions, it's "Never Too Late."
