Facebook releases trove of data to social science academics to combat hate speech, misinformation

After two years of gathering data, Facebook unveiled a trove of information to researchers today as part of an effort to assess patterns on the spread of hate speech and misinformation. NBC News Technology Correspondent, Jake Ward, joins Ali Velshi to discuss what could be achieved as a result.
