“I am glad that my story, however indirectly, will contribute to that discussion. While I don’t like that the guy is an ancestor, I am happy that aspect of our country’s history is being talked about,” the actor posted on Facebook after his cover up was revealed. 

The Senate confirmed Lynch in a 56-43 vote and Lynch became the first black woman U.S. attorney general. 

"We don't know what happened in the wagon. One thing is for sure, somebody has to speak for Freddie Gray ... I'm telling [the police that] they don't have the right to remain silent," Rep. Elijah Cummings told msnbc.
