'Fortnite' maker Epic Games to pay $275M fine for collecting kids' personal info

Epic Games, the maker of the "Fortnite" video game, has agreed to pay a fine of $275 million to the government for collecting children's personal data and information without obtaining consent from a parent or guardian. The fine is a part of a larger $520 million settlement. Dec. 19, 2022
