With yet another crude photo, Anthony Weiner is out of the political game again.
The former congressman lost his bid for the Democratic nomination to be mayor of New York City Tuesday night, earning just 5% of his party's votes.
Leaving his own primary party, Weiner gave reporters yet another vulgar image to run with: a shot of him flashing his middle finger as he drove away.
The former representative resigned from Congress in 2011 after a series of lewd online exchanges with young women were revealed. Weiner declared his candidacy for mayor of New York earlier this year, but his campaign was derailed after revelations that the inappropriate message discussions had continued after Weiner had resigned.
Weiner was the first candidate from either party to concede his loss last night.
“We had the best ideas,” he said, according to the New York Daily News. “Sadly, I was the imperfect messenger.”
