Judge halts vaccine mandate for NYC public school teachers hours before it takes effect


A federal appeals court temporarily delayed New York CIty from implementing a vaccine requirement for public school employees, including teachers, nurses, cafeteria workers, custodians and others. About 10,000 teachers in the country's larges school system remain unvaccinated, leaving schools scrambling to replace them before the mandate takes effect.
