J&J says vaccine effective against Covid, though weaker against South Africa variant

Johnson & Johnson says a single-shot of its vaccine is 85 percent effective at preventing severe Covid-19 cases, but is weaker against South African variant. The vaccine could be authorized by the FDA by the end of February.Jan. 29, 2021
