It seems that Republican Gov. Chris Christie's sky-high approval ratings and celeb friendships are nothing without the power of his well-worn blue fleece.

It seems that Republican Gov. Chris Christie's sky-high approval ratings and celeb friendships are nothing without the power of his well-worn blue fleece.

In a new spoof video produced by the governor's office for Tuesday’s New Jersey Legislative Correspondent Club dinner, Christie's administration goes into a tizzy when the fleece he famously wore in the days following super-storm Sandy goes missing.

The iconic fleece's mysterious departure leaves the governor with a chilly reception everywhere he goes in the video.

The whodunit video comes complete with guest appearances from Morning Joe’s own Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, Alec Baldwin, Democratic strategist James Carville, Jon Bon Jovi, and Saturday Night Live's Bobby Moynihan. You'll never guess which big name's sticky fingers cause the governor's polyester problems.

This isn't Christie's first parody, but the latest spoof has quite the dose of celebrity thanks to the fleece's—er, the governor's—high-profile clean up of New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy ravaged the New Jersey coast.
