Texas Governor Rick Perry spent the weekend in Iowa, meeting with voters at several events around the state. Speaking to the Houston Chronicle yesterday, he doubled down on comments he made on social security at an earlier campaign rally. He said, "It is a Ponzi scheme for these young people. It is a monstrous lie on this generation, and we can't do that to them."Perry went on to say that means testing should be discussed, adding that Warren Buffett probably doesn't need social security.
