After his interview on today's show, I had the chance to talk with author and Rolling Stone senior critic Will Hermes. Hermes graciously answered some questions I had about a recent essay he'd written on the enigmatic (and until recently, semi-reclusive) singer/songwriter Jeff Mangum and Mangum's legacy as a musician.
Hermes also kindly shared with me some of his favorite records for 2011.
Give it a watch if you have a second.
Thanks
P.S. Please excuse the interruption at the midpoint of the interview. Seems as if someone badly needed to return the green room's TV remote to its proper place.
