Do you have a question about student loans that you want to ask the president? Now is your chance.

Congress has just one week to reverse hikes to federally subsidized Stafford Student Loans, which are slated double from 3.4% to 6.8% on July 1. President Obama is using this week to push the issue and will choose one question each day to send his response via text. Here's how it works:

1. Text "PREZ" to 38383 for a message on how to send and receive texts from the president.

2. Submit a question about student debt.

3. Even if the president doesn't answer your question, once you text the number above, you will receive a response from him with his answer to the selected question.

The responses will also be posted to DoSomething.org.
