Secretary of State John Kerry took a shot at L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling this weekend during a Yale University commencement event, according to the Associated Press.

"You are ... the most diverse class in Yale history. Or, as it's called in the NBA, Donald Sterling's worst nightmare,” Kerry said to laughs.

Yale has students from 61 different countries in this year’s graduating class, according to the AP.

The NBA banned Sterling from the league for life following the release of an audio recording of the 80-year-old billionaire making racist remarks. The NBA has also fined him $2.5 million and begun proceedings to try and force Sterling to sell his share of the team.

Sterling has resisted, refusing to pay the fine and promising to fight the punishment in the courts.
