Politicians are easy targets to discuss during comedy shows because they don't understand "how disenfranchised" the public is, Grammy-Award winning comedian Lewis Black said Tuesday.
"Now it's the Democrats are dumb and the Republicans are stupid. The difference between dumb and stupid is dumb isn't funny," he said on Morning Joe. "Dumb is when you say something and the whole room goes, 'What did he say?'"
Black, who grew up in Washington, D.C., will perform his comedy special this weekend at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.
