Safety Net programs like WIC and federal food assistant programs do not cover the cost of diapers. Founder of the Diaper Bank of North Carolina, Michelle Old, has been working to make the choice between food and diapers a little less urgent by helping families in her community. Michelle Old and Rep. Barbara Lee join Melissa Harris-Perry to explain the new bill that provides free diapers for the poor.
