Then, school discipline. This week video was released of a police officer handcuffing an 8-year old with a mental disability. A federal lawsuit was filed Monday by the American Civil Liberties Union, stating the act violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. We discuss the law that was created to protect those with disabilities from discrimination as we discuss the quality of education for young children with disabilities.
