Sarah Palin scorns 'assclowns' of DC and the media

While the boldface names of D.C. mixed it up with Hollywood stars and the who's-who in journalism and media, Sarah Palin--like the rest of us--watched the the White House Correspondents' dinner on television.

And based on her late-night Facebook post and tweet, it seems like the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential hopeful felt a little left out.

It started with this post on Facebook:

The "real joke" here, as The Washington Post pointed out, is that even though Palin--who has been invited on at least two occasions--has never attended the dinner, just two years ago she was 'yuking' it up at the 2011 Vanity Fair and msnbc after-parties.
