Human Rights Watch tweeted a photo of NSA leaker Edward Snowden Friday morning as he met with them in Moscow.

Snowden told the rights groups that he is now asking for temporary asylum in Russia but would still like to travel to Latin America later, NBC News reported. Three countries in Latin America--Bolivia, Venezuela, and Nicaragua-- suggested they might offer the American asylum after he applied to about two dozen countries.

Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, shared the photo by his colleague, below. NBC News said it could not independently verify its authenticity.
