Bernie Sanders endorsed his rival, former Vice President Joe Biden, for the Democratic party's nomination during a livestream about the U.S. economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. Sanders endorsed Biden just five days after the senator dropped out of the race, while in 2016 it took over a month for Sanders to endorse Hillary Clinton.April 13, 2020
