Democrats have released excerpts from transcripts of their closed door depositions with European Union Ambassador Gordon Sondland and Former Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker. We learned that Ambassador Sondland testified that it was his “understanding” that a meeting between Presidents Trump and Zelensky was conditioned on Ukraine investigating 2016 meddling and the Bidens. In short, he testified there was a quid pro quo.
