Missile strike ruled out of MetroJet crash

A senior defense official tells NBC News an American infrared satellite detected a heat flash at the same time and area where the Russian Metrojet crashed in Egypt killing everyone on board. NBC’s Bill Neely explains how this heat flash rules out a missile strike, but nothing else. Investigators are still extracting information from the two flight recorders, but have not released any information at this time.
