Wednesday could be a landmark day for gay rights, as the Supreme Court hands down its rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition Eight.

NBC Justice Correspondent Pete Williams will deliver the news live from the courthouse steps. msnbc's Chris Jansing will discuss the impact with Rachel Maddow. Former Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank, the first openly gay congressman, and Rep. Mark Takano, D-Calif., the first openly gay person of color in Congress, will give their reactions.

Plus Ted Boutrous, a member of the legal team that argued against Prop 8, will  give his take on the monumental decisions.
