More than 70 thousand people are headed to Houston for the NRA's annual convention. Former VP candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and Texas Governor Rick Perry are slated to address the crowd. We'll talk with Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal.

Unemployment fell to a four-year low of 7.5%  in April, according to the Labor Department. Jared Bernstein, former Chief Economist to Vice President Biden and an msnbc contributor, will weigh in.

We'll ask NBC News Political Analyst and former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and Sara Fagan, a former White House Political Director for President George W. Bush.
