The government's information-gathering operation is apparently wider than previously thought, with news late Thursday that the National Security Agency has a direct tap into the servers of the largest internet companies in the nation. msnbc's Chris Jansing will discuss with Congressman Henry Waxman, D-Calif, the National Journal's Chris Frates, and Politico's Maggie Haberman.

The latest jobs report released Friday morning showed 175,000 thousand jobs added in May-- better than expected -- but the unemployment rate rose a tenth of a point to 7.6 percent. Jim Tankersley, a Washington Post economic policy correspondent, joins us.

Plus, President Obama meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping this weekend for two days of talks in the southern Californian desert. We'll discuss with National Journal's Michael Hirsh.
