Pennsylvania's Democratic Senator Bob Casey, is one of 67 senators asking President Obama to take action on the huge backlog in disability claims for veterans. More than 600,000 veterans are stuck in this backlog, with the average wait time for a first time claim ranging from 316 to 327 days.

"Our veterans sacrifice and their service should be matched by a commensurate effort by the administration to process these claims expeditiously," Casey said on Jansing & Co. Monday.

Casey also discussed the problems in Syria and the status of gun safety legislation. Click on the video to watch the full interview.
