The United Kingdom has been plunged into even deeper political chaos. The majority of British lawmakers, including members of Prime Minister Boris Johnson's own party, voted to stop Johnson's plan to leave the European Union without a withdrawal agreement in place. After that, Johnson demanded a snap general election to try to get a mandate for his plan and that also failed.Sept. 4, 2019
