Impeachment inquiry holds final hearing before House enters articles of impeachment


The House Judiciary Cmte. held the last scheduled public hearing in the impeachment inquiry against President Trump. Lawyers representing the Democratic majority argued that there is “overwhelming” evidence that the president abused his office’s power, while the Republican minority, represented by Steve Castor, said President Trump intended to help the United States "move forward" after the Russia probe when he called Ukrainian President Zelenskiy.
