If the world had its way, President Obama would win re-election.
According to a new BBC World Service opinion poll, Obama has a much higher overseas approval rating than challenger Mitt Romney, including in countries like France, Australia, Kenya, Nigeria and Canada.
An average of 50% favored Obama compared to just 9% for the GOPer.
Only Pakistan’s respondents said they would prefer to see Romney win in November.
“It looks like it's Mitt Romney who has the repair work to do," said Hardball host Chris Matthews on Tuesday night.
