Romney's Gold Medal Gaffe
Mitt Romney's in London for the start of the Olympics, but he's spent much of his time either insulting his hosts are trying to clean up his own mess after insulting them. The New York Times goes so far to call Romney vs. British P.M. David Cameron a new Olympic event. Time and time again, when Romney goes off script, he seems to go off kilter.
The highest profile Republican has come to the aid of Rep. Michele Bachmann after her outrageous comments that American Muslims may be helping the Muslim Brotherhood infiltrate the U.S. government. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor defended Bachmann in an interview. And while he's the highest ranking member of the Republican establishment to do so, it's no surprise considering how he's embraced the far right Tea Party crowd in the past.
Another Out-of-Context Ad

The Drumbeat for Rubio
Rudy Giuliani is the latest Republican big-wig to call for Marco Rubio's addition to the Republican ticket. The former New York mayor follows Jeb Bush in saying Rubio would make the best running mate for Mitt Romney. Meanwhile, House Speaker John Boehner says he's 'partial' towards Ohio Sen. Rob Portman.
