Paul Krugman caught this little sugarplum from Mitt Romney this week: Romney admitted he's a closet Keynesian when he said “If you just cut, if all you’re thinking about doing is cutting spending, as you cut spending you’ll slow down the economy.” Romney's advisers walked back the comment after conservatives called him out on it, but as Krugman points out, this is typical Romney -- he's running as something he's almost surely not.
