Coming up on Hardball: Gender wars and ad wars

How can you talk about birth control without people who have the ability to give birth?

How can you talk about birth control without people who have the ability to give birth? Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) walked out of today's House hearing on contraception when she learned there were no women on the panel. And Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-CA) boycotted the hearing altogether. If you thought this issue ended with President Obama’s decision to have insurance companies fund contraception in place of religious institutions last Friday, you were wrong. We’re talking with Delegate Holmes Norton and Congresswoman Speier tonight.

Next up: The fight for the Michiganders! Santorum leads Romney in Michigan... and Romney’s campaign is still wondering how it got to this point. We’ll talk to msnbc’s Howard Fineman and TIME magazine’s Joe Klein.

Then: Ad Wars! The Hardball Strategists (and veteran ad-makers) Todd Harris and Steve McMahon will weigh in on the latest, including Santorum’s new Rambo-style anti-Romney aid that’s airing in Michigan.

Plus: No surprise here! New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters writes today that “Conservative Pundits Find Romney Disengaged, and Say That’s Puzzling.” We’ll hear from him and the National Review’s Rob Costa tonight on why conservative pundits aren’t enamored with the on-again, off-again frontrunner.
