Look at this group of new moms from Venezuela holding their little ones at a maternity hospital in Brazil. Why are they in Brazil? Venezuelan women are crossing the border to give birth, because there’s a lack of prenatal care, medicine and even diapers in their home country. One of the mothers in that picture saying, "my baby would have died" if she had stayed in Venezuela. An important reminder of the struggles that country is still facing. The photographer here is Nacho Doce, for Reuters.Aug. 23, 2018
