Charles Krauthammer, one of the most prolific commentators of his time, passed away last night after a battle with cancer at the age of 68. Honored with a Pulitzer prize in 1987, Krauthammer was hugely influential in conservative circles. In a heartbreaking farewell note earlier this month he wrote, "I am grateful to have played a small role in the conservations that helped guide this extraordinary nation's destiny," adding, "I leave this life with no regrets."
