The Kilauea volcano erupted in a big way this morning -- shooting ash into the sky like you see here, but also sending a river of lava flowing through people's neighborhoods. People forced to pack up and evacuate their homes -- over 1,500 of them and counting. The county Mayor issued a state of emergency, and the governor activated the state's national guard to help with evacuations.
