#BIGPICTURE: Shah Marai, journalist killed in Kabul attacks

01:14

Hallie Jackson brings light to the topic of freedom of the press in a tribute to Shah Marai -- a photojournalist who covered the war in Afghanistan since it began, putting his life on the line to show the rest of the world what was unfolding. Marai was killed during this past weekend's attacks in Kabul, when a terrorist pretending to be a cameraman set off an explosion that killed eight other journalists. The AFP says now it can "only honor extraordinary strength, courage and generosity" of a photographer who covered "horrific events with sensitivity and consummate professionalism".
