Man holding hostage fatally shot after hours-long standoff in downtown Los Angeles

A man was fatally shot after an hours-long standoff at a downtown Los Angeles apartment complex, where he was holding a woman hostage. A musician across the street from the building captured incident and police response. Oct. 9, 2021
