The U.S. Central Command says it carried out an unmanned drone strike to prevent what it says was a vehicle carrying suicide bombers on the way to Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport. CENTCOM said the vehicle posed an “imminent ISIS-K threat” and they are “confident” the target was hit successfully. Aug. 29, 2021
