President Biden has signed a new executive order to allow transgender individuals to serve in the military. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin notes Biden stating, “I truly believe that if you’re fit and qualified to serve and can maintain the standards, you should be allowed to serve.”Jan. 25, 2021
