Secretary of State Hillary Clinton remains hospitalized at New York Presbyterian Monday, a day after her spokesman said doctors found a blood clot stemming from her recent concussion.
Her spokesman has not said where the clot is located.
Andrea Mitchell reported that before the clot was found, Clinton had planned to return to work later this week. Clinton has been recovering at home from a stomach virus she picked up earlier this month while traveling. According to the State Department, the virus caused Clinton to become dehydrated, which caused her fall and concussion. Clinton hasn't appeared in public since December 7.
Clinton's illness caused her to postpone testifying before the Senate about the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
