Representative Mike Quigley (D-IL) joins Andrea Mitchell to react to the hearing on TikTok by the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where the social media giant’s CEO repeatedly assured members that consumer data is safe on the app. “The fact that it is extremely popular does nothing to me but make them a larger Trojan horse that can have extraordinary influence here. And again, it's not just collecting the data, it's also using that data to influence over a period of time and that’s something that we need to be mindful of.”
