The power of representation: U.S. closer to opening National Latino museum


An effort over 15 years in the making, bipartisan support brings the U.S. closer to having a National museum dedicated to the storied history and diverse culture of American Latinos. MSNBC’s host of “American Voices” Alicia Menendez is joined by artists and activists John Leguizamo and Cristela Alonzo, as well as Henry Muñoz, the former Chairman of the National American Latino Museum Commission, and Estuardo Rodriguez, the President and CEO of Friends of the American Latino Museum.
