The Trump administration didn’t want to use the Defense Production Act to force companies to produce ventilators and PPE, but they’ve finally found a proper use for it. On Tuesday, Trump signed an executive order to make people go to work in meat processing plants, which have been at the center of some of the largest coronavirus outbreaks in the nation.
