The All In with Chris Hayes team puts out a daily call to Twitter and Facebook for the “awesomest things” they encountered on the Internet.

1. Sportscaster, Bob Costas has worn many hats in his storied career:  nine-time Olympic host, Superbowl pre-game host, Frasier character. His newest accomplishment? Spoken word artist. When asked his favorite rapper, Costas responded with a lyrical rendering of a Ludacris song: "I be rollin’ torpedoes, get blunted with Rastas. And for a hefty fee, I’m on your record, like Bob Costas."

2. Responding to North Korea's recent incitement, the pentagon has spent a billion dollars on 14 new ground-based missile defense systems.  A Foreign Policy magazine piece makes an apt point: if the worst happens, this missile defense system won't even be enough to protect us.

3.  Just one day before the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, tape of his shooter, James Earl Ray, has been restored and digitized. Hayes comments on the significance of this newly accessible video.
