Former President George W. Bush may be hoping the dedication of his presidential library is a chance to rewrite his legacy. The All in With Chris team, with help from Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, the former chief of staff to Colin Powell during his tenure as Secretary of State in the Bush administration, took a tough look at the administration.
Wilkerson shied away from the Bush administration's tactics back in 2005, calling his involvement in the weapons of mass destruction fracas the "lowest point" in his life. Then, in 2008, Wilkerson had harsh words for the administration's use of torture. Wilkerson appeared on All in With Chris on Thursday night and denounced Bush's comment at the dedication ceremony that he was proud his administration "stayed true" to its convictions. In the clip above, Wilkerson suggests that standing by torture is dishonorable. Don't miss Wilkerson's plea to move the already cleared 86 detainees from Guantanamo's controversial prison.
