1. Rocket scientist, Yvonne Brill died last week at the age of 88. Don't know who that is? Brill developed and patented the electrothermal hydrazine thruster. Don't know what that is? It is a propulsion system that keeps satellites where they need to be transmitted instead of pulled off orbit. Pretty brilliant. But the headline of her New York Times obit originally touted her cooking skills over her scientific ones.
