Kavanaugh accuser’s counsel: ‘We committed to moving forward with an open hearing’

Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, has agreed to testify in an open hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. Her counsel Debra Katz said in a statement that Ford has agreed to move forward with a hearing even though the committee has refused to subpoena Mark Judge. The committee has also refused to invite other witnesses who are essential for a fair hearing, she added.Sept. 23, 2018
