The House will soon vote on a bill that would permanently fund health care for 9/11 first responders. This comes shortly after comedian Jon Stewart’s Capitol Hill appearance where he passionately spoke about the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and rebuked lawmakers who skipped the hearing.
