Newlywed accused of pushing husband off cliff released

Updated

In Montana, 22-year-old Jordan Linn Graham has been accused of killing her husband by pushing him off a cliff, face first. The newlywed was arrested on Monday on a federal charge of second-degree murder and was released from jail without having to post bond.  She is currently in her parents’ custody waiting for her trial with the judge saying Graham neither poses a danger to the community nor is she a flight risk.

Former FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt said on Weekends with Alex Witt that “there are still holes in this story that have to be filled.” He mentioned some inconsistencies in the newlywed’s story that include why her husband’s back was turned after he grabbed her, why she did not immediately call 9-11, and how her story changed.

Van Zandt said that the question for police investigators to answer is, “did she shove him to get – get him away or did she shove him to push him over the cliff?”
