While World Pillow Fight Day celebrations left Copenhagen covered in feathers, children in New Delhi played in mud to keep cool in hundred-degree temperatures. 

The European Union sent its first wave of refugees back to Turkey this week, while those stranded by a Balkan border blockade demonstrated at a makeshift camp. 

Elsewhere, protestors clashed with riot police in Bahrain, where people demonstrated after the funeral of an 18 year-old who died from injuries sustained while fleeing police, and in Nantes, France, during a protest against French labour reforms. 

In politics, the presidential candidates have turned their sights toward New York.
