Helen Chavez, activist, passes away at 88
Helen Chavez, the widow of Cesar Chavez, who led and founded the National Farmworkers Association, has passed away of natural causes at the age of 88. She was said to be instrumental within the union by keeping the books, but also served as an activist alongside her husband.
