Justice Dept. isn’t waiting around on Voting Rights Act

A bill in North Carolina that would place far-reaching restrictions on voting is moving closer to becoming law. This comes just two days after the Justice Department took steps in Texas to restore some of the provisions stripped from the Voting Rights Act by the Supreme Court last month.
